Appointment Cancellation Policy

Due to high demand, we maintain a waiting list for appointments at Bellarine Medical Group. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us at least 2 hours in advance so that we can offer the time to other patients.

SMS Reminders & No-Show Policy:
We send SMS/email reminders 24 hours prior to appointment requesting you confirm your attendance.

If you miss an appointment without prior notice, you’ll be charged a fee:

  • $45 for standard appointments
  • $90 for long appointments

This policy also applies to Telehealth appointments.

If You Miss an Appointment:
If you fail to provide notice, we’ll send a text or email notifying you of the fee. If we can’t reach you by phone, an invoice will be sent to your email.

Emergencies & Extenuating Circumstances:
We understand that emergencies happen. If you’re unable to attend due to special circumstances, please call us at 03 5253 1002 so we can discuss your situation.

Late Arrivals:
To help us stay on schedule, please arrive on time for your appointment. If you’re late, your GP may not be able to see you, or they may not have enough time for your full appointment. The cancellation policy will still apply if you’re unable to be seen.
