Telehealth

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Bellarine Medical Group  has been offering both phone and video appointments.

This has made access to timely medical care more convenient for patients of the Bellarine.

There are, however, many limitations to providing quality medical care over the phone or through a video consulting platform. To make accurate diagnoses and order appropriate investigations, doctors more often than not, need to perform a clinical examination.

We recommend reserving telehealth appointments for patients suffering from acute respiratory illnesses, or if your doctor has advised you to make a follow up ‘results’ appointment via telehealth.
